Not at the moment. Since 18 September 2026 photo evaluation has been paused while we rebuild our scoring, and a small group of beta testers is trying the new version — we're aiming to reopen in November. Your past evaluations are kept, and Project Review — as well as Deeper Analysis on your past evaluations — is open as usual.

Yes, you can start free. Guests can try 3 photo evaluations without an account, and members get 5 free credits every day — a photo evaluation uses 1 credit, a Deeper Analysis 1 credit (your first Artistic and first Technical are free), and a Project Review of a 5–20 photo series 8–20 credits. New members also get one free Project Review pass. If you need more, LENSIC Plus and credit packs are on the pricing page.

A photo evaluation usually takes about a minute (roughly 60–80 seconds): we read the photo, score it, and then write the critique. A Project Review takes about 1.5–2 minutes for the First Read and the Context Review together, a little longer for larger sets.

We support JPEG, PNG, HEIC, and WebP files up to 20MB. For best results, use photos with a resolution of at least 1920x1080 pixels.

Ten: Portrait, Landscape, Street, Still Life, Everyday, Documentary, Architecture, Animals, Travel, and General. Within each genre LENSIC also reads the style of your photo (33 sub-genres in all), and every genre is scored on its own five categories. Not sure which fits? Our AI evaluation is inspired by professional photography critique principles. It aims to provide consistent, observation-based feedback. Remember, AI feedback complements but doesn't replace human artistic judgment.

Photos up to 4096px on the long edge are stored exactly as uploaded — no resizing. Larger files are resized on your device to 4096px before upload, which is above typical photo-contest submission standards (around 3000px). The AI evaluates this stored image; the smaller preview you see on the results page is only for display.

Guest evaluations are automatically deleted after 30 days. Registered users' evaluations are stored permanently until manually deleted. You can delete your evaluations anytime from the results page. See our Data Retention Policy for full details.

By default, only you can see your evaluations (using your browser session). You can optionally create public share links that never expire.

No, we never use uploaded photos for AI training or share them with third parties. Your photos are solely used to generate your evaluation.

Yes, but each evaluation is independent and may vary slightly. This is expected behavior as AI evaluations can consider multiple valid interpretations of the same image.

AI feedback is objective and observation-based, but photography is subjective. Use the "Not Helpful" feedback button on your results page to let us know what was missing, and we'll use it to improve future evaluations.

1 credit = 1 photo evaluation or 1 Deeper Analysis (Artistic or Technical). Adding your photo's story to an evaluation uses 1 more credit. A Project Review uses 3 credits plus 1 per photo, capped at 20 (8–20 credits for 5–20 photos). A standard evaluation includes scores across the five categories of your photo's genre, a written critique, and ML-powered visual analysis.

Guests can try 3 photo evaluations without an account. A free account unlocks 5 credits a day, your evaluation history, Deeper Analysis and Project Review.

Credit packs expire: Starter after 1 month, Standard after 3 months, Pro after 1 year. LENSIC Plus credits (200) refresh each calendar month and don't carry over; the included monthly Project Review also expires at month's end. Free daily credits reset every day at 00:00 UTC.
